People’s Little Theatre (PLT):
To encourage the children in the theatrical activities and to stage drama for children by their active involvement, People's Little Theatre was established in 1990. People's Little Theatre is one of the most popular and leading children theatre groups in Bangladesh. The motto was to stage the performances for the children and by the children and flourish their talents and intelligence through theatre. It is not only to encourage children for theatre but also to use 'Drama for Capability'.
PLT produced 22 plays and performed not only in the capital city of Dhaka but also in the different places of Bangladesh and abroad. PLT participated and co-organized 14 national Children Theatre Festivals with PTA held in 1995,1997, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2014, 2016 and 2019 in Dhaka. PLT is the only children's organization, which established and popularized children theatre of Bangladesh in the international theatre arena. Since 1994, PLT participated in many festivals held in Germany, Japan, and different part of India. PLT is the co-partner of Cuba's La Colmineta in the Social Harmony Project.

PLT productions are – Songhar, Ichchhe, Cinderella, Ali Baba, Kemon Jobdo, Bobby, Raja O Rajdrohee (Drama), Roopbadaler Roopkatha, Lalu, Chhanda Juddha, Mitther Birambona, Jene Shune Bish Korechhi Pan, Swapno, Tasher Desh, Khoma Karo Prabhu, Amader Prithibi, Mukti, Rastaar Chhele, Raja O Rajdrohee (Jatra), Alo, Banglar Mukh, Bajao Biashwabina.
Participating in the International Festival:
Third, fifth & seventh International Children Theatre Festival in 1994, 1998 & 2002 respectively held in Lingen, Germany, 6th ICTF 2000 held in Toyama, Japan, Hanover Cultural Festival 2000 held in Lingen, Germany, 4th ICTF 2000 held in Delhi, India, 8th ICTF 2004 held in Havana, Cuba and London and Asia Pacific Children Theatre Festival 2004 held in Toyama, Japan with the plays – Sanghar, Boby, Roopbadaler Roopkatha, Bajao Bishwabina and Taser Desh, Lalu, Amader Prithibi and Raastar Chhele & Fusion. In 2011 PLT participated “Ordu7th international Youth & Children Theatre Festival” in Turkey with the plays –Tasher Desh and In 2014 PLT participated “International Children & Youth Theatre Festival” Lingen, Germany.
