Loko Nattyadal:
Loko Nattyadal, one of the leading adult theatre and associate member group of PTA was established on 6 July 1981. On its thirty years way from the outset adhering to the commitment to stage dramas having world classic, modern, folk as well as very essence of life of common people, it produced 27 plays of varied kinds. With all these productions Loko Nattyadal played over thousand nights. The most popular production of this group is Kanjoosh (The Miser) written by French Playwright Moliere & directed by Liaquat Ali Lucky, is the first in Bangladesh, which crossed the 500 nights.
Versatility in the productions and experimentation is the main characteristics of LND. This is the only group which established Bengali theatre in the international arena participating in the different festivals in Germany, Japan, Hongkong, Turkey, Monaco, S. Korea, London and different parts of India.
Every year Loko Nattyadal awards the honest and dedicated theatre workers of the country for their contribution towards the theatre movement. The group observes the World Theatre Day every year with due grandeur. LND organizes theatre festival every year.
