Regional Children’s and Youth Theatre Festival:
PTA is always concerned about the betterment of children theatre movement in our country. To lift up the spirits of the children and to give momentum to their enthusiasm, PTA arranges Regional Children’s Theatre Festival every year in different places of the country. It is noteworthy that PTA has already arranged 27 successful regional festivals, which were highly appreciated by all.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival in Sirajganj 2005: The festival in Sirajganj began on 25th February and went on up to 3rd March 2005. Every evening at six the shows started where the hall was packed up with enthusiastic audience. Ten groups participated in the festival.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival in Bogra 05’: In Bogra, the Regional Theatre Festival was held from 10th
to 13th June 2005. The venue was the Zilla Parished Auditorium. Fourteen Children’s Theatre Groups from the region participated in the festival.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival in Dinajpur 06’: The festival in Dinajpur was held on 30th and 31st March 2006 at Dinajjpu Nattay Samity Mncha. 10 groups from different part of Rajshahi Division and 1 group from Tongi Participated in the festival and performed their plays.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival in Jessore 06’: Jessore Regional Festivfal was held on 3rd August to 5th August 2006 at B.D. Hall (District Council Auditorium). 18 groups from different part of the Khulna division participated in the festival and performed their plays and cultural programs.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival Jinaidha 07’: The festival in Jinaidha was held on 31st May, 2007 in Jinaidha Shilpakala Academy. 4 groups participated in the festival and performed their plays.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival Jessore 07’: Jessore Regional Festivfal was held on 1st June, 2007 at B.D. Hall (District Council Auditorium). 9 groups participated in this festival.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival Faridpur 07’: The festival in Faridpur was held on 2nd June, 2007 at Kabi Jasimuddin Auditorium. 4 groups participated in this festival.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival Bogra 07’: The festival in Bogra was held on 27th May, 2007 at Bogra Jela Porishad Auditorium. 6 groups participated in the festival and performed their plays and cultural programs.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival Dinajpur 07’: The festival in Dinajpur was held on 25th May, 2007 at Dinajjpur Loko Bhaban Auditorium. 5 theatrical groups participated in this festival.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival Ponchogor 07’: The festival in Ponchogor was held on 24-26 May, 2007 in Ponchogor Auditorium. 7 groups participated in this Regional Children’s Theatre Festival.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival Ponchogor 08’: The festival in Ponchogor was held on 11 July, 2008 in Ponchogor Auditorium. 3 groups participated in this Regional Children’s Theatre Festival.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival Thakurgaon 08’: The festival in Thakurgaon was held on 11 July, 2008 in Mirza Ruhul Amin Auditorium. 4 groups participated in this Children’s Theatre Festival.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival in Jessore 08’: Jessore Regional Festivfal was held on 7th April to 2008
at Vupati Moncha. 7 groups from different part of the Khulna division participated in the festival and performed their plays and cultural programs.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival Jamalpur 08’: The festival in Jamalpur was held on 8th April, 2008 in
Jamalpur Dikpai Dhorony Kanta High School. 7 groups participated in this Regional Children’s Theatre Festival.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival Dinajpur 08’: The festival in Dinajpur was held on 28th August to 30th
August, 2008 at Setabganj Municipal Auditorium. 20 Children’s theatrical groups participated in this festival.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival Jinaidha 09’: The festival in Jinaidha was held on 15th May, 2009 in Jinaidha Sodor Upazela Milonayatan. 7 groups participated in the festival and performed their plays.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival Dinajpur 09’: The festival in Dinajpur was held on 22th June, 2009 at
Dinajpur Nattay Somiti Moncho. 7 Children’s theatrical groups participated in this festival.
Regional Children’s Theatre Festival in Jessore 09’: Jessore Regional Festival was held on 26th June to 27 June, 2009 at Vupati Moncha. 8 groups from different part of the Khulna division participated in the festival and cultural Programs.
Also in 2011 PTA arranged Regional Children’s and Youth Theatre Festival in different places (Foridpur, Barishal, Jhinaidah, Bogra, Dinajpur and Dhaka) of the country.
