Children are the future of a nation. So their proper mental & physical growth is necessary. Only with the academic approach of education, mental growth of children is not possible. In this connection, cultural activities can play an important role. Drama being a strong cultural media is playing an active role in this regard. With such a truth, People’s Theatre Association (PTA) started a revolutionary movement in January 1990 for development of Children’s mind, awareness, building and integrating the children’s theatrical activities throughout the country, which ultimately give rise to a proper shape of movement. To reach the target, PTA organized all the children’s groups of the country under one umbrella – PTA and from then on conducting regular programs suitable for the development of children’s mind and theatre movement. PTA already has more than 250 associate members in its network, who are quite active in performing theatrical activities. Since 2005 PTA has been executing Children’s Voice Project in collaboration with RAKHAL (Regenerative Action for Kaleidoscopic Human Activities and Learning).
