People’s Theater Association in the international arena:
The People’s Theater Association has set a groundbreaking example of the participation of international children and youth theatre festival in the international arena. In 1994, the People’s Theater Association established itself at the international level by participating in the 3rd International Children’s Theatre Festival held in Lingen, Germany. India in 1997, Germany in 1998, India in 1999, India, Germany and Japan in 2000, India and Germany in 2002, India in 2003, India, Cuba and Germany in 2004, India in 2006 & 2011 The participation of its affiliated organizations in the theatre festival with the help of PTA has added a new dimension to the children’s theatre movement in this country.
In addition, PTA’s associate concern group Loko Natyadal is continuing to show its skills in the international arena. From 1991 to 2020, they participated in international theatre festivals in Hong Kong, Turkey, Monaco, London, South Korea, Japan, America, China and Canada, as well as in different parts of India and Nepal.
PTA’s another associate concern group People’s Little Theatre participated in the International Festival’s held in Lingen, Germany in 1994, in Toyama 1998, 2000, 2001 & 2002, Japan in 2000 & 2004, in India 2001 & 2007, in Moscow 2008 and Germany in 2011.
